Marie-Helene Bertino is a French writer. She was born in Nice and lives there. Her first book, the novel "Cédric", won the Prix Interallié de la Critique. Her new novel, "L'Or d'Or" (The Gold of Gold) was published in September 2008 by Albin Michel
It's the story of four friends, who are reunited after 15 years, at the time of their wedding. A week later they discover that the gold hidden in their house is stolen, and everything is destroyed. They have to learn to live with this discovery and face new challenges.
